13.08.2014 EGM Elects Sultan Batov as CEO of PJSC NCSP

Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group (NCSP Group or the Group) (LSE: NCSP, Moscow Exchange: NMTP) hereby announces that today Sultan Batov was elected to the position of CEO (General Director) of PJSC NCSP by the extraordinary general meeting of PJSC NCSP shareholders, which also terminated prematurely the powers of the previous CEO Yuriy Matvienko.


Sultan Batov commented on his election: «I’m thankful for the confidence of the shareholders and will in turn apply all efforts to further development of NCSP Group. It is a great honor and even greater responsibility to lead the country’s largest transportation company».


Sultan Batov was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors of PJSC NCSP as the single candidate for CEO on 3 July 2014.


About Sultan Batov

Sulan Batov has been the CEO of LLC Baltic Stevedoring Company (BSC) since 2002, which became part of NCSP Group in 2008.

Under his leadership BSC has shown a strong record of financial growth and became the largest stevedoring company in Kaliningrad region. BSC container traffic has more than doubled from 77 thousand TEU in 2008 to 185 thousand TEU in 2012.

Previously he worked as the Head of Consumer Market and Services Department of the Nalchik city administration since 1999.

In 1997-1999 he headed the Energoperetok Trade House of RAO BES Rossii in Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. From 1995 till 1997 worked as Director and representative of Baltgazstroycomplekt and Gazcomplectimpex divisions of RAO Gazprom in the North Caucasus.

In 1992-1995 served as the Chairman of Materials Resources Committee of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. From 1989 till 1992 headed the Civil engineering department of the Cabinet of Ministers Kabardino-Balkarian Autonomous Republic of the USSR.

Sultan Batov was born in 1958 in Djambul region of Kazakstan. In 1980 he graduated from the Kabardino-Balkarian State University as a civil engineer.

Sultan Batov is married, with three children.
